I've always been interested in how the body and the mind work. For years, I explored meditation, Reiki and visualization/hypnosis techniques. My life was about getting to the next workshop, healing modality or retreat where I could experience my self and see the effects of my mind and my full self. After years of exploring I graduated with Masters of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine from the New England School of Acupuncture where I studied acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. After graduation, I studied with Sharon Weizembaum of White Pine Healing Arts post graduate mentor ship in Chinese Herbal Medicine at which time I owned and operated The Hudson Natural Health Center- an integrative holistic center.
While studying acupuncture, I began under the supervision of licensed acupuncturists to combine acupuncture with hypnosis. Patients experienced quickened and heightened levels of healing.
My love for Asian medicine continues to deepen due to its effectiveness in treating the whole person and the root causes of illnesses while also integrating the emotions and spirit. Many symptoms that may seem independent of each other are intimately connected in Asian medicine and can be resolved simultaneously.
For over 13 years, my special areas of training and interest include and are not limited to women’s health issues, anxiety, detox, depression, immune system health, digestive issues, stress/burnout, insomnia, diabetes, fibromyalgia, fatigue, headaches/migraines, and respiratory issues.
I am licensed by the state of Massachusetts and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
